BEHIND THE TITLE

My name is Tyra Audrie Muyengwa, I created Miss DIASPORA UK PAGEANT SHOW in 2012 with the hopes of showcasing, elevating and promoting diaspora beauty and talent.

Being a freelance fashion designer and having a background in modeling I enjoy celebrating art, talent and hard working people. I saw a lot of pageant but few which were aimed at the ethinc minority. I felt the need to celebrate those that are not celebrated.

The team consists of Miss Diaspora UK 1st Princess Cecilia Kupera and Queen Sheila Muzvidziwa and pageant Vice President and beauty consultant Esther Chirimangombe and creative coordinator SoElla  they shared my vision and desire to create a pageant show which would celebrate and elevate, inspire and empower the diaspora

The highlight of the show, is the crowing of Miss Diaspora UK 2014. The crowned winners will win different prizes as well as join ranks in the philanthropic work for our supported charity Action Is Eloquence Foundation, a charity seeking to improve the lives of poor and orpahend children through education.

The title holders will also be involved in a number of other activities associated with the pageant social, chairtable or otherwise.
